Hi !!!

I have a bunch of audio tapes and i don´t know how to transfer the all the information in them into an ibook/powerbook?

Thank you,

igmolinav.

P.S. I apologize if this is not the right place to post this thread. I had also thought placing it perhaps in "buying tips, and advise"

if you have a powerbook and aren't overly concerned with sound quality, get a cassette player with 3.5mm out and get a 3.5mm male<->male cable. then connect the tape player to the computer and use audacity or something like that (garageband, logic, etc. should work also) to record the tape player's output. iirc.

I assume quality would be pretty poor...

I thought this link might be appropriate http://homepage.mac.com/danielturek/PhotoAlbum50.html ;)

Though it is not for the iBook/Powerbook (or any Mac for that matter) and also of dubious sound quality, since it doesn't support Dolby or anything but normal cassette tapes. I hereby give you a link to: the Plusdeck. A pretty expensive way to do what Homer J. suggested.
