So, I am eligible for an upgrade and all that, but I'm leaving on the 19th for a trip, so if I pre-order from apple.com will it come during that time and when I get back I will be able to activate it? Or does it have to go to the AT&T store and they activate it? I'm just confused. Should I pre-order?

yea, you can have it shipped to your house (hopefully someone is there to take it in the house if you pre sign for it) and it will be there when you get back. I don't think you need to go to an Apple Store/ATT store to activate it. Just connect it to iTunes and follow the set-up.

Sweet! Yeah I don't think anyone will be at my house during the 24th but I have a nice neighborhood so I'm not really worried about it getting stolen, maybe I could have my neighbor sign it off or something. Thanks so much for your quick and helpful reply.
