i have a DSL connection,what's the best connection set up for me?

i'm gonna convert to mac soon.

so i thought i might change my 5 years old speed touch modem too.now what's the best connection set up for my Macbook Pro+ACD with a DSL connection? will the AirPort Extreme or Express do the job? sorry for the noob question..
