1) I have a 2015 27" and I am wanting to try linux on a small partition (not in a VM) and I was wondering which distro is the most compatible out of the box? I have used Fedora, Ubuntu, and Mint in the past. I am just looking for something different to mess around with. I like BigSur fine. I am sure Monterey will be great.
1a) Will BT work with any out of the box?
1b) What software should I use to handle the booting so I can pick and choose?
2) I am considering getting a bigger blade ssd, but OEM drives are expensive. I have a 2TB HDD already. Which adapter and m2 would you all recommend for this late 2015 27"? I am aware swapping out the HDD for a ssd would be quicker and easier. Can anyone who has updated either or both hard drives in one of these models give advise or their experience?
3) what's the speed like going from the quad core i5 to the 6700k?
