I Have a Flash Drive & Want To Share Files From My MacBook Pro to PC Laptop.

I have a standard flash drive, 2GBs, of which I can see on my MBP and can drag files, though upon connecting the same flash drive to my dad's PC laptop, nothing happens.

I'm wanting to share files between the two but it seems Mac & PC don't play nicely concerning this topic.

I'm wondering if NTFS & the appropriate System Pref.'s pane has anything to do with the solution?

Simple.

Open Disk Utility and format that drive to FAT. It will delete all of the data on the drive, but afterward all data you place on it can be read and written by both operating systems.

Thank you so much, I'll make sure to apply this method though upon my submitting this thread I couldn't help but think I could just burn the files onto a DVD disk, considering an array of the files are old home movies filmed on my old Flip Mino HD, prior to my getting the iPhone 4.
