I have a Iphone 2G and Iphone 3Gs that I want to jailbreak/unlock

So here is the problem, both Iphone 2g and 3gs are "Erased all data and settings". So both phones are wiped right now. My Itunes is updated to the latest version, along with the modem firmware because I have the Iphone 4 that I use currently.

What options do I have for the Iphone 2g and 3gs? If possible I would like to jailbreak and unlock both phones because I plan on selling them ASAP. Thanks for the help.

Ok, so before the phone was "Erased all data and settings" the phones last software was either 3.1.3 or the one before that. So the phone was never updated to 4.0.1. That's where I get confused and might have asked it wrong. So can I still unlock it, I thought when I wipe it the OS is deleted. Is it still on there?

So this is my setup:

Iphone 3gs - Software from previous owner was either 3.1.3 or possibly the one before 3.1.3. (he couldn't remember his latest update)
Itunes on my computer - Latest one that Apple released.
 
Nothing u can do for the 3GS.
Unless you have shshs saved for
Prior builts the only firmware iTunes will let u restore is 4.0.1
Once u do erase all you have to restore the iPhone firmware.

When I get to step number 2 I can't find the IPSW file, even though I downloaded all files that were required for the unlocking? The folders are there but I don't see that file/icon that shows

Sorry for being so noobish;) By the way the phone has firmware 3.0 and modem firmware 04.05.04_G (Iphone 2g)
 
Nevermind, I figured it out. IE was saving the file as a ZIP file. I found a thread on the net about the same issue and firefox was recommended to DL the file again. When I did that, I can then see the file I was looking for. Did the whole process and everything went through. I just need to verify with a Tmobile sim card to see if its truly unlocked. Everything is on the phone though, Cydia/Icy.

Is there anything that I need to change on the settings before I pop in the Tmobile sim card? Thanks!

If in the US, turn off 3G data after unlocking. 3G data doesn't work in US on T-mobile
