what is this? its a little white dot next to the iSight camera.. its under the glass.
it wasnt there before? what could have caused it? laptop was in a sleeve and a carrier bag just resting,...
looks like chip from the bezel, or an air bubble. it wasnt there before :S

im not going to replace it or whatever... its just annoying me so.

Does something have your camera turned on? On my Mini 9, the white light is used to illuminate the object the camera is focused on (i.e. the camera is turned on).

nah, its 5-10cm away. like paint chipped of under the bezel.
its only 6 months old damnit!

not that ill cry over it.. just id expect that proper handling would not result in such (d)effects

Check to make sure it isn't the "Aurora" Desktop background causing the speck.

I questioned a similar thing, and when I changed the Desktop to a solid color it no longer was there.

nah, its just at the top.. visible very with direct light, not so much with ambient light
wierd. wouldnt expect it to happen so soon. oh well

You might take it in and get it checked out. I know you are not too worried about it. But what if it is just the beginning of a larger problem? It might be worth a look.

yeah... i almost feel like im living on an isolated island.
there is no apple care in our country, and no BTO macs, actually all BTO come from neighboring countries.
silly,huh? ;)
i buy my mac stuff at an authorized retailer, because we have no apple stores, only "iStores" and they are focused more on the, well, iPod market. ;)

no, i see where the sensor is..
i could but i dont think its going to be visible with phone camera
its tiny.. looks like a speck of dust. im gonna try to get a supermacro nextweek
