Apple's Magic Trackpad requires 10.6.4, or later (and that means an intel Mac is required)

Bluetooth keyboard should work. All you need to do is pair up with that.
And, the PowerMac G5 needs to have the built-in bluetooth card (not all of them have that as standard), although you may get a USB bluetooth adapter to work, I think.

We don't yet know which G5 the OP has.
That article is for PowerMac G5 older than 2005 models.
If it is the late 2005 G5, then the bluetooth antenna is built-in, and the OP will need the correct combo card for that, completely different from the one pictured in that article that you posted.
If it is any earlier G5, then there's no antenna for the bluetooth, and you have to find one of those to plug in to the antenna connector on the back panel.
Your PowerMac originally shipped with that antenna, but if not used, they disappear - lost in a box somewhere over time and not easy to find.
In that situation, a third-party bluetooth dongle is a much simpler fix.
