i have a question about snow leopard, need help plz

hi basically i have a 13 inch macbook pro, im gonna purchase snow leopard tomorrow for 29$ and install it but i was wondering something. in like 2 months im gonna purchase a 17 inch macbook pro and get rid of my 13 inch, so can install the snow leopard disk on my new 17 inch even though i installed it on my 13 inch? or i have to buy a new disk thanks

It'll be pre-installed then. Legally, you can't use it more than once but nothing is stopping you...

If you erase SL from the 13" and reinstall Leopard from the gray restore discs, then yes, you can use the SL disc to install SL on the 17".

But ... the 17" will have SL on it already, so what's the point?

if you have a 13in MBP then you should qualify for the 9.95 price of SL

That 17 inch one will have snow leopard already pre installed. Infact, from next week onwards each mac technically (not clearing old stock) will come with snow leopard pre installed
