Ok i would like to buy an iphone 3g but I dont have at&t and Im not getting the service. So do you know if it wil ever come out for verizon or a pay as you go for at&t.

I don't want to sound mean, but did you search for your answers?

1) iPhone is not coming to Verizon. Completely different networks.
2) AT&T does not PAYG and not sure they every will.

The Dev-Team is coming with a soft unlock for the iPhone 3G on New Year's Eve.

^ Yup. Instead of hard mods like the sim card trick or etc, there will be a soft unlock. But you'd have to jailbreak, correct me if I'm wrong.

In order to buy an iPhone 3G you must sign up for a contract. When the unlock tool is released, you can use your iPhone all you want on other networks, but you are still going to be paying AT&T.
