Ok so my wife has an 8 plus and I have an X. I got a 8 plus last year and decided I wanted the X two months later. So last year in order for me to get the X we had to swap sims, so I traded in the 7 plus phone which was hers to upgrade to the X via device payment.
When I tried to order tonight it wouldn't let me saying the phone numbers needed to be activated with correct device to match up. I swapped sims in my phone to upgrade my iPhone X to an xs max. I got email confirmation so is it okay to switch them back or do we have to swap phones until my phone ships? Also, when my phone arrives I will trade in my iPhone X instead of her 8 plus right? She loves her 8 plus and will be upset with me if she has to trade hers in and start using my iPhone X. Thanks in advance guys!
