Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but any moderator can feel free to move it to the correct place. Nevertheless, I was wondering if many have had success in just cutting a screen protector down to size for use as a logo protector for the iPhone. A few people have said its perfectly fine, but I just wanted to get a consensus. Most films leave no residue, but I figured I'd ask anyway. Thanks for any input.

I remember doing this once before. If I recall, it made the edges of where I cut, curl up slightly. Forever disallowing the edges of the protector to lay flat. But it could have been how I cut it. Not sure.

But if it's just for the logo, and a case is on, then make it big enough past the circle and it should be fine and not come off once the case is on. Just my input. I never actually did this before, except for cutting a protector. That much I did do.

One more thing. The ideal place for this thread would have been in the Accessories sub-forum.
