I have a rattle when I click the trackpad down, just started 2 months after purchase. I came across this:

http://www.tenonedesign.com/blog/fix-your-macbook-pro-like-a-champ/

So instead of removing that piece, I placed a piece of electrical tape where it meets, along with 2 pieces where the battery may touch the bottom plate, and where the edges of the superdrive may touch the bottom plate. The tape is on the bottom plate, not stuck on any internal components. My question is, do any components need to ground to the bottom plate where I stuck the tape? Will I do any damage? The link I posted said the main area that squeaks uses the bottom plate as a ground, but says it's ok to remove that one ground. It seems sketchy to me, anyone want to guide me?
