I have never owned an Apple Watch .

do I get the SE or the 6?

is the ability to afford cellular on the se worth it over the 6 and the ecg?

thoughts?

BB has killer deals on the series 5 which would be better than the SE. The only big feature you miss on the series 5 is the BO. DEFINETELY go the series 5 BB route.

The big negative about the cellular version is having to pay $10/month for celluar service (typical fee in U.S.). If you are not prepared to pay an extra $120 every year for cellular service, there is no point in also paying extra for the cellular version of the watch.
If you ARE prepared to pay $120/year for cellular service, then the cellular feature is more useful than ECG, IMO.
ECG is not something that continuously monitors in the background: you need to initiate it and hold still for 30 seconds. I suspect most people try it a few times then forget about it.

This ^. Along with the $10 monthly cellular fee are the added taxes and whatever local/state fees. I got rid of my cellular service for my AW because I always have my phone with me, and in the wash, my total fees were around $20-$25 per month. It just didn’t make since for me to keep the service especially since I’ve been working from home since last March with no definitive timeline of going back into the office.

The SE lacks the always on display. cellular is great if you are a jogger, as you don’t need to bring your phone, but can still receive and make calls or stream music. But if you don’t jog and your phone is always near you, then Cellular is probably not worth the extra cost and add on to your phone plan,

Cellular is totally worth it IMO if you go running, cycling, hiking, whatever, and don’t want to have to take your phone with you. Otherwise, you could probably get away without it. I greatly appreciate being able to go cycling without needing to carry my phone on me, which is the real reason I upgraded from my series 3 gps to the cellular 6.

So the 5> SE. hmmmm I have to check out BB

Just chececked BB still has some SS series 5 in stock. If you don’t use cellular just don’t activate. This is still a great deal for SS and a sapphire crystal and will hold its value a lot more than a SE or aluminum non cellular!
