Firmware is 02.10.04 I live in the uk and want to jailbreak it. But im not sure of its possible???

Please help
 
You can jailbreak it, but not unlock it. If you are wanting to unlock it, you'll have to have the carrier unlock it for you.
 
The thing is I don't think I need it unlocked. I can use any sim card at the moment ie doesn't that mean its unlocked already?
