I have a Mac Pro that has two hard drives. One is 250GB and the other is 1TB. The 250GB has Snow Leopard and works great. The 1TB had Snow Leopard at one point but I deleted the Applications folder and other folders because I started to use it as a storage hard drive. I didn't need it as an OS drive. I've changed my mind and using the Snow Leopard DVD I re-installed SL. I booted up normally and I can use it but it doesn't have any administrator accounts.

I need (duh!) to have an Admin account. I can't do the following:
boot to the SL DVD
use the Option key on startup to give boot options
PRAM reset
single user mode

In short the keyboard has gone deaf as the Mac starts. I was able to boot to the SL DVD as this was the way I installed SL.

What can I do so I can create an admin account?

Thank you for looking.
