As part of my Christmas gift, my parents bought a one share of Apple Stock. The certificate came today. I'm excited about it, but I noticed one thing: this share of stock is to the now renamed Apple Computer Inc.

I might have one of the last stock certificates to be printed to Apple Computer Inc. as this was printed on January 8, 2007, the day before Apple Computer Inc. went to Apple Inc.

Just thought this was interesting.

Mods: If you need to move this to the Apple Industry forum, go ahead. I didn't know which place to put it, so I thought I might as well help more people see it.

Whoa, pretty cool. I am sure there are several Apple Computer stocks floating around, but it is cool to have one of the last.

edit: Did the picture go away for the rest of you? nvm

So if you cash that in do you have to send it back.
I don't know.

Just so you know, I'm an equal investor in that on the other side of the room, I have a certificate of Microsoft stock, which is actually two. But I got that about four years ago.

Sorry about that. Should be back up. I had to blur me and my mom's name because she's a little paranoid about that. Should be back up. If not, I'll figure it out.

Your mom's paranoia is a pretty well advised precaution, though. Still it's a cool display/souvenir, and a novel idea for a thread.
