I have option to uninstall Yosemite... should I

Using CleanMyMac 3... was reviewing what I had installed and what was eating up space. Some time ago I had Yosemite and have since upgraded to El Capitan.

It looks as if Yosemite is eating up about 5GB of space. I thought I'd check before just nuking it... okay to remove?

You mean the Yosemite installer? Make a backup somewhere as a precaution maybe and get rid of this :)
