Basically I have 3.0 beta 5 on my iPod touch because I bought the individual dev program for $99.
My question is this, if I have already paid $99 for the beta firmware, will I have to pay the $10 for the RTM version of 3.0?
If I do I think that apple will be ripping me off slightly.

Apple has mentioned that 3.0 firmware is available free of charge for iPhone and costs $9.95 for iPod Touch. I think thats what his gripe is about...

To the OP, just remember you were testing the software initially and now you are going to receive the end product of that testing, the best mobile OS ever.

apple have announced theres a cost with 3.0? if not how can you comment on price and yeh I'm with above post too

I'm going with the shock of others.

You paid $99 to be Dev when you don't intend to do any, and then ask if you'll have to pay for the final release?!

seriously, you need to get your head checked

The OP never mentioned that he/she does not intend to do any developing.

seriously, maybe YOU need to get your head (or at least your eyes) checked.

I think from the attitude of the OP, developing isn't on the cards. I am able to use logic where as some people may fail

Intelligence should only be used by those who understand the potential outcomes. ;)
