Hi: I am an experienced PC user, but not good at Dreamweaver (new user) . I acknowledge that Dreamweaver is the industry standard for website building, and I wanted my website designer (who has a Mac) to use it, which he did.

Now that the website is built, I tried to download the files from the hosting site (GoDaddy.com), and they seem to be transferred, but nothing shows up on my PC.

Could it be a Mac-PC interface problem?

So, I took a 30 day free trial of Contribute, but it seems to ask if I'm using a Mac or PC. Surely someone must have dealt with this problem.

I wish to have the Mac user who designed the web be in charge of the artistic design and modularity, while I want to be able to add content (documents, photos, etc.)

Any suggestions?

The files, after being developed, are not specific to a particular platform.

I'd recheck where you downloaded them, and also check the directory where you downloaded them from.
