i am a college student doing a research paper of iOS and i have a few question about iOS that i couldn't find on the internet. if anyone can help me, please answer these questions.

1. Does iOS offer multiprocessing?
2. How does your iOS deal with deadlocks?
3. How much real memory can iOS address? Does it have virtual memory management?

1) It offers some limited multitasking of apps. Not true multitasking. No multiprocessor iOS devices have been released, so no support yet (it should be able to support them when Apple decides to offer a multi core processor in a iOS device).

2) No idea

3) Apple has never said, but probably much, much more than the 512k in use right now on the iPhone 4.
