i have some questions about jailbreak and post functions

i have iphone 4 unjailbreaked.

i'm thinking of jailbreaking it but i would like to make some questions first i don't find easily on web or forums with accurate response.

Assuming that i will purchase another iphone in the future, or by any reason i need to have my iphone unjailbreaked, can i still restore using the backup from the jailbreaked device?

i want to keep all the saved data from original apps, i hope i'm able to do this.

Backing up your JB iDevice thru iTunes: will give you a backup you can utilize on an unJB iDevice. No harm, no foul. FTW
