iPod touch I have stuck Podcasts that ignore iTunes.

I have a bunch of podcasts stuck on my touch. When I sync with itunes from my pc everything updates fine but there just seems to be random podcasts that are only available to stream from the internet and I can't see to find a way to get rid of them, they are not on itunes at all. Any ideas? They're massively annoying because my ipod will tell me I have new podcats but these are very old and unplayable without an internet connection, and the ipod will always try and play these after a podcast has ended (probably coz they're old) and it'll just tell me the device isn't connected to the internet.
