my 2.0?
also do you think that iphone2.0 will get;
:apple:copy, paste
:apple:themes
:apple:landscape email mode
:apple:video cam
:apple:and all the other stuff a $300 phone should have

or will apple save all that for the 3.0

thanks :D:D

I, too, went to the future and am back now - the iPhone gets largely forgotten and the iPhone Nano gets all the sweet features going forward.

All the features you listed (and more), with a higher res screen, in a smaller body, with better battery life, for less money.

Consider version 2.0 came out months ago and it doesn't have any of those things, I wouldn't count on it. :p

Seriously, I am curious about how far along Apple will drag compatibility. If they really position the iPhone and touch as a game ecosystem, it will be interesting if they can really pull off obsolesce on their usual timescale, being that it is so much faster than the timescale the gaming industry uses.

I personally will cast in my vote that none of those things will be added any time soon, except perhaps for the video cam (with some kind of iLife integration, natch), and that in another 18 months, people will continue to complain that the iPhone lacks features any $50 phone has, and will continue to spend hundreds of dollars and sign lucrative contracts to get it anyways. ;)

Yea, it's a bunch of bogus. Poor Apple, what have they done (I mean, ugh, what are they going to do)

No, just not using the search function on the forum ;)

Your first post? How could we tell....

Some bits won't apply - your v2 3G iPhone won't have the hardware. Or it'll have slower hardware.
