I have to reset SMC every 2. week or so?!

So, i had a problem that my game on bootcamp suddenly went really laggy, and i reset the SMC and everything went back to normal..

now every 14th day or so it gets all laggy and such and i have to reset it again.. it's not a major problem, but definitely not something you'd expect from a 4k laptop.

is there a fix to this?

I had this for a long while, too. And it was much worse. I had to reset SMC every few hours, or Android Virtual Device, which I use to test resolution scaling, would run like a dog.

I can confirm it. The SMC reset horror stopped around the time I switched Power Nap off (this 'cured' my resume from sleep times as well).
