I tried searching but couldn't seem to find the same problem.

So my mac is almost three years old. Never a problem yet, I've loved every minute of it...

Now for my issue, for the last two days when I've gone to use it, I tap the spacebar like normal to wake it up and nothing... Nada, zilch... I give her the old reach around and push her button... Nothing... Finally I have to unplug it and plug it back in, then when I push her button I get some action... Any ideas or should I just call tech support before my applecare runs out in a couple of weeks?

TIA

Heath

Wow, that sounded really dirty...

I have the exact same problem. I changed the energy preferences to prevent it from going to sleep. By change are you using bluetooth mouse and keyboard? I'm guessing part of my problem is my BT mouse/keyboard aren't waking up. I've been too lazy to plug in an keyboard to see if that solves the problem.

I've just been holding off for the iMacs to get a refresh so I can replace this one.
