How many iPad owners out there have had SERIOUS wifi connecting issues? I've had a bug or two, but I am on a beta, so I can't complain...

I remember when the iPad first came out, it had wifi issues, and eveyone assumed it was hardware, but it was software, and not that many people have had issues I think....

I had minor wifi issues on my 32g model iPad, but one of the OS updates (September I believe) cured it. My 16 g has never had issues.

I've never had problems except when there was a setup issue on the network itself.

Infact the only problem i've ever had with any apple product via wifi was when i couldnt get my powerbook to connect to an a/b/g/n mixed broadcast on a d-link router. Changed the firmware and it worked fine

No WiFi problems here

I remember it was mentioned that the WiFi problems occurred with 3rd Party access points. I have both an Airport Extreme and Airport Express and don't recall having trouble connecting.
I also connect to several other access points at multiple locations and I did have a problem with one of those cheap access points at one time.
After upgrading to 4.2, don't recall any more problems.

It's a wasted thread, because I too have minor issues with it dropping (unlike my iPhone), and I also know through other people and some basic research that WiFi on the iPad is not as consistently stable as people make out.

What you'll get is people telling you there is no problem because they haven't experienced it, and then not bother to make any effort to back up their claim.

No problems here, I connect to my work wifi and I don't notice any issues. At home, its pretty stable as well.

Oh actually one problem i did have was excessively slow youtube downloads on ipad.

Turning auto brightness off sorts that tho, i have no idea why.

How can someone back up that they don't have issues?

I used to have one issue where I couldn't login to public hotspots if I had Safari's auto-fill setting turned on but that was fixed already.
