I just bought a new POWERBOOK, now what?

I recently bought a new 12" powerbook, like 3 days ago, i clabirated the battery, is there anything else i should to? what programs should i download/buy? im a recent switcher and i just want to know what would be a good idea to do with a brand new PB before i get going, Thanks for the help.

If you instant message a lot using AIM, MSN, Yahoo, GoogleTalk, or any combination of those, download Adium.

I use OnyX so I can perform system maintenance at my convenience, instead of leaving my computer on overnight; MPlayer to play the files QuickTime won't, mainly .avi and Windows Media files. LimeWire is a great P2P program, and if you are interested in ripping or encoding DVDs, check out Handbrake and Mac the Ripper.
