I just bought .Mac 2.0! Help

I found a dot mac account for sale on Amazon for less than $50, but it was dot mac 2.0 which is ages old. Will this still work if it is truly unused and unopened? Or did I just waste my money?

it works, you really just need the serial code. so actually, you got a pretty good deal for .mac
