in salem, NH and they said thay you are supposed to restore your ipod to get the update. have many of you tried this.
 
you don't need to "restore it" to get the update. besides that would make zero sense and poor coding on apples end to begin with.

the servers are qued up and just gotta be patient.
 
I think you might be right.

I treid using the free way (the paid one wouldn't work :p) and it bricked my ipod so I put it in restore mode and connected it. It said a resore would update it as well. Its still syncing and when it's done I may have app store. Just have to wait and see.

im really sad.... ive been looking forward to this ever since the keynote.
it sucks its not going so well, for anybody.:(
