I just cleaned my 3G with it being *ON*-is that OK?

I just cleaned my new iphone with a slighly damp (just water) microfiber cloth .
I realized the phone was on, and not turned off. I have a iskin protector on the screen as well. I know they suggest that it be turned off. Should I be OK? Sorry for the paranoia . I am just in love with this damn thing.

why would you want to take the risk? iphones dont grow on trees..
