I just downloaded Gimp and have a question...

Is there a way that I can get the toolbars to stay up front, instead of having to click twice on them every time I need to get a different tool or undo something. I'm used to using Photoshop at school and the toolbar is always there and ready to use. All the clicking gets frustrating after awhile.

Make sure that you have the most recent version of X11, and in X11's preferences check to see that "Click-through Inactive Windows" is selected.
