on the online add it said 320HD 5400 RPM. I think it's WAY to loud for it to be 5400 and when I google the model number it says it's a 7,200. How can I tell for sure?
 
Also it says it only has 278.28 GB ? Now I know if it says 320, it would be less, but come on that's a whole lot less!! lol

Go to System Profiler > Hardware > Serial-ATA and find the model number, then Google it.

Apple products and storage drive manufacturers report drive capacity differently.

u can just open up the bottom of the notebook too, there should be a sticker on the hdd that says what model and speed it is.
