I just got my new MacBook Pro, and....

I have a couple of questions specific to my setup. (It's a base model 13" running Lion, btw)

First off, I have a brand new CD for iWork '09 here in my possession. If I just install it normally from the CD, will I still get updates for it via the Mac App Store?

My second point is regarding the hard dive. So I have an Intel X25-M SSD from one of my other computers. I plan on getting an OptiBay and moving the hard drive to the OptiBay. My question with this is if it would give me any additional benefit (excluding stuff like amount of GB and rpm speed) to get a Western Digital Scorpio Blue HDD and put that in the OptiBay as opposed to the stock HDD? Or will it not matter?

No, you'll get iWork updates via software update, not the app store. But you'll still get them.
