I just made this House Song...whaddy'all think?

I'm no musician or anything, so I'm afraid I can't give you much feedback, but... OMFG. And I don't really listen to house much, but I really like this :) And this is your first time creating a house song? *collapses*

It's okay, honestly. No way I could do it so I cant hate but it's no DJ Tiesto either ;)

But for your first attempt? Very impressive. Listen to some more House music and get a good feel for the genre and try again.

Thanks! Yeah i've been making trance and electro-type music for a long time and I guess it's sort of hard to switch styles all of a sudden lol. I figure the more I listen to house the more i'll get the gist of it. Thanks for the help! :)
 
I must say you got me inspired. To be honest house is not my favorite styling, of course there are some artists with the house genre I like quite a lot.

I am the head of production for an artist development company. Through this my tracks have been focused closer to reggae and dancehall. So with your inspiration I kicked out a nice little track of my own.

You have to do something with that bass mate! There's no kick at all; that doesn't mean you need hip-hop levels of bass, just a more defined kick. It feels like it was made in fruity loops (I'm not sure if you made it in fruity loops, but I'm just saying it sounds like it)
The other elements are there, it just needs a much better mixdown.
