just sold my MBP on ebay; took a $100 hit with all the selling fees/Paypal fees. Craigslist is much better if you have the time and are in a buzzing metro city like NYC.

Ebay is going to soon be saturated with Apple computers and the value is going to drop. The days of quick resale and retained value for Apples is almost gone. It's marketing 101... supply and demand dictates value. Soon the supply will exceed demand. Mark my words.
 
I can't imagine the resell value of a computer (even Apple) holding good value when a new model comes out. Most of the time everyone will want the newer model not the older one.

I agree completely, especially when it comes to white MacBooks...
