The complication shows the min and max temperature today, the min and max temperature tomorrow, and the time the data was last refreshed (something missing from most complications imo). The color also tells you that there’s a good chance of rain today and tomorrow.

I’ve been using this myself for the last several months as we developed the app and I found it really useful. I hope you do too. Please let us know what you think. We value your feedback.

One note, right now due to the data source we use, this app only works for weather forecasts in the USA.

Will it display current conditions if complication is set in a bigger spot? Example: the utility Apple Watch face, the center spot. I used that face for the longest time and had the weather channel complication there. Loved it. Displayed current conditions and the high/low for the day.

I’m now using the activity watch face. The weather channel complication only shows current conditions and temp. Not as great but it’s acceptable.

I like your creative thinking with this. It definitely doesn’t compare to any other weather Apple Watch complication.

Keep up the good work!!

I’ve tried to design the complication to work in as many slots as I could but I put the most effort into the ones I use most often (the ones that work with infograph on the S4). ones in the big complication slots could maybe use the space better and I could probably put more there if I find out what people want.

Right now I’m trying to be different and focus on showing the forecasted temperature and rain rather than observed conditions but I could definitely fit observed conditions into the bigger watch face slots too.

I really like having the time since the complication last refreshed so I know I’m seeing good data. With the Apple complications I don’t have to worry but I noticed some of the third party ones refresh so infrequently so it’s always good to know if I’m looking at reasonably up to date info. Do you agree that this information is useful?

Nice job. ;) How often do you update your complication on the watch?

One thing I do that nobody else does is show on the complication itself when it last updated.

Unfortunately developers don’t get to decide precisely when complications update - the iOS decides so it can maximize battery life.

Right now as I glance at my wrist the forecast data is 25 minute old.

I like the time since last updated, but don't prefer a two-day temp range display. Option to show current temp along with today's range AND time since last updated would be good. Maybe current temp on top, with today's range/time last updated on bottom?

I like that suggestion. I just added an option to show current temp at the cop and max and min today and tomorrow at the bottom instead of time since update always at the top. Actually it’s be default behavior now. I like the idea of keeping time since last update but also showing most recent temp so I think I’ll add that in a future update as a third style. Unfortunately I can’t combine time since update and temperature since time since last update is a special complication text style that Apple makes you put on its own.

These customizations right now only affect the complication styles with multiple lines of text on the modular and infograph faces.

One good face that includes both time last updated, current temperature and max and min today and tomorrow is the bezel complication on infograph (the one that puts text around the dial). I’d use it if it wasn’t for the fact that I’m using fantastical in that slot.
