I second that. I wear one in my right ear, since 25. I am 53 now. It was noise related. It’s a warning. I can tell you about wearing hearing aids at 38 years old.
Maybe it’s trying to warn you about something?I had to turn the decibel warnings off. I spend about half my work day out on a factory floor. I was getting about 30 decibel warnings a day! Lol!
I can hear my upstairs neighbor sneeze :EI can hear my neighbor sneeze when I’m indoors with the windows closed and he’s in his backyard
Because ANC doesn't block noises out, it just creates more noise to even it out. ANC headphones are NOT meant to protect your hearing.Yep, mine does the same when I used the toro riding mower. It does not realize that I am wearing noise canceling headphones which almost cancel the mower noise completely. Led Zeppelin and ELP are preferred!

It was obviously working as designed, but seeing as I'm wearing ear plugs when out on the factory floor, it's just a nuisance. It's a great feature, it just doesn't work well for those of us who routinely work in loud environments (with proper hearing protection).Maybe it’s trying to warn you about something?![]()
Noise cancelling headphones are not a substitute for proper hearing protection.I do not agree. You are wrong.
Noise cancelling headphones produces a pressure wave that counteracts the noise’s pressure wave, cancelling it out and greatly decreasing the pressure wave before reaching your ear drums. It is simple physics.
I have different noise cancelling headphones I use for target practice at the firing range. Without, my ears would be ringing, with, nothing but a low thud when I pull the trigger. No ringing.
They are not guaranteed to block 100% of noise.Noise cancelling headphones are not a substitute for proper hearing protection.
Hey there! I’m in a class where we work with CNC machines on Tuesday afternoons. The cool thing is, we don’t need to wear earplugs or headphones because they have enclosures on these machines. I still like to wear my AirPods and listen to my favourite artist or replay some of my favourite songs from my library. It was obviously working as designed, but seeing as I'm wearing ear plugs when out on the factory floor, it's just a nuisance. I even do mines like crazy. My sneezes are the same way, I hate them so much. I'm jealous of people with soft sneezes.
