I just want internet tethering - can I do it in 3.1.3 w/AT&T?

Hi all,

I have: 3.1.3, 3GS, AT&T in the USA.

The only superpower I want is to internet tether. I didn't get into this iphone hacking thing till now, so I didn't know 3.1.3= not fully hacked yet.

Is there any combination of magic that can get my phone to do internet tethering w/ 3.1.3 (or rolling back)?

Do I need the full jailbreak for tethering?

sorry, you can't even jailbreak the 3GS on 3.13.

Yes, once a JB is out then it will be possible.
Not at the moment though.
