I just won 100 dollars in a bet and need an opinion

Of what I should get with this 100 dollars, It has to be technology related, and to give you some input I have an Xbox 360, and a MacBook Unibody 13" late 2008.

Anything really!


Please give me opinions, because i'm stuck!

I would but I really don't "need" this 100$ persay... I would rather splurge on something.

He won it so he wants to celebrate. I would feel the same with $100 bucks, too. If I won, some would go to Haiti, and some for a new practice amplifier for the house that won't bug the neighbors.

One guy I know at a Federal Government job won a bet on a dare he made to others in his job on an election via the government's network/email. While many swear and even distribute racy pictures (pinup stuff mostly) and get away with it, he got his $100 bucks in his gambling endeavor betting in an election on government equipment and was fired. :)
 
I want to now what the bet was for.
As for what to do, exchange the $100 for all $1 bills and head to a strip club. There's a nice place to waste your money.

I would buy something for my bass... if I had it still! Sold the thing for 300 dollars a few months back... anyone have anything that would go as a good accessory for my 13" MacBook?

Put it towards and external display? Speakers? Put it towards an iPod? MBP Stand? Fancy dinner date? (Chicks dig olive garden?) Save it for a hopeful MW2 Map pack? Buy some advance XBL? Extra 360 controller (s)? Car power adapter for MBP? Video Game?

Whats a good display? I need one since my Acer monitor broke.

I don't think theres any good ones under 100 dollars..
 
Well if you can cough up an extra $50 you can get a nice display. There are some good ones out there for $150 ish.
 
For $100 I'll teach you basic grammar and how to multiquote.

With a MBP and being 13 maybe you'd like some headphones?

New headphones, maybe a nice case for your MBP. Definitely donate some if not all to Haiti.

See? I didn't do anything to insult him, I didn't make any comments about multiquoting, or his grammar or spelling. Wasn't that easy?
 
If you don't really need the money, instead of blowing it on something you need, why not donate it to Haiti relief efforts?

In the short term, you might be upset that you couldn't buy some useless crap you don't really need, but you'll get over it and feel good.

+1. If you INSIST on buying things, kay then. But this is honestly the best idea. :)

I agree, if you don't need it there are a lot of people in Haiti that really do.

Surely this will give you the added bonus of cool points with your friends too. "Oh that Appley is such a kind person."
