I have installed apps on my iPhone using my old account but it keeps making me sign in with that account causing me to sign out, reset my password because I don’t remember it and then go back to my other iCloud account. Is this not ridiculous? It’s quite annoying because for me if or whenever I update an App it keeps pulling back the information and asking me to sign into my old iCloud account. That just gets annoying.

Here is the issue that pertains:

Your Apple account (my old account email address) or password is incorrect. Try again.

I guess I must enter my password, I don’t mean to be a Karen about this but it’s so annoying that this keeps on happening. This is on an old phone of mines. Really annoying.

And no because I don’t have access to the old email address iCloud account associated with that email, I’m sad to say that I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it. That is really annoying and I guess it’s one of those tactics that ensures people actually own the app.

Yep, exactly. Apps are tied to the Apple ID that purchased or downloaded them.

If you don't want to lose your app data, offload the app instead of uninstalling it. Then reinstall the app using your new Apple account.
The problem is what if it’s an app that isn’t in the App Store? I had to do this for me to be able to update the Musi app now it’s not there.

Gotcha. In that case, you're usually able to redownload it from your purchase history...unless it's been completely delisted. You'd have to use your old Apple Account again, but maybe you can migrate your purchases to your new Apple Account so that you don't have to keep switching between them?

I'm sorry the app I was trying to download was an app that was no longer in the app store as of 2024, I don't want to have to reinstall it because I plan on getting a new phone. Musi is not going to be on my new iPhone if I shall wipe or get a new phone.

If it’s not on tha App Store and you get a new phone… the account you’re using is irrelevant; you simply won’t have that app on the new phone. Time to find an alternative.
