My roommate just got an iPhone. I used to have one (Storm now) and I tried to help him get his hotmail on his phone. Some screen popped up that said you have to pay for something to get it to work. He claims hes already paid in the past for something, but I think he doesnt know what the heck hes talking about.

His iPhone did load 50 emails from hotmail, but they are all from 2004 or older. And when he hits "Get more" it loads 50 more OLD emails. Nothing from 2004 forward will come into the inbox.

Ive tried to tell him its probably not going to work, since its a conflict of interest from MS and Apple. I told him to have all his hotmail forward to a gmail account but he wont have any of it. I think he might be the only person in the world that doesnt even have a gmail account.

So...is it possible to get hotmail working on the iPhone without any crazy workarounds or jailbreaking?
