i Life 08 and clean install

my iMac came with i life 08 installed it came with some disk for the os.
I want to do a client install with those disks.

Will i Lose i Life 08 if i do a clean install ?

Your hard drive will be erased if you do a "clean install." Unless you have a backup from which to reinstall iLife, it will be gone.

Do you still have the disc(s) that the iMac came with? The installer for iLife should be on those discs.
