I like the new Calender changes but.....

I like the new changes in the Calender app but it still does not do what I think it should!

That is it should show on the badge icon how many events appointments etc I have for the day Then has I check them off or they are done the badge icon would reflect this..

If I am being dull and stupid please tell me.

So now I have to use Fantastical to show me this so I have to have two apps to do the job of one.

Set it to be in list view. Then, in Notification Center, it will show you only the events you have that day, and what time the events will be in a much more condensed version than it would show before (where it would show an event, then a blank space continuing until the next event).

Once an event is over, it will disappear from Notification Center. I think just taking a quick glance at NC, especially from the lock screen, is easier than having another app just to tell you want events you have coming up.
