It used to be I would take pictures, upload them to iPhoto and then when I synced my phone I would sync them back on to my iPhone so that I had them with me. I am not a fan of spending money for the iCloud and I bought a phone with enough space to house my photos. Can we no longer sync our photos back on to our iPhone? In iTunes they make it look like you should be able to sync them back on like you could with iPhoto but it's not working.... any help?

I sync my photos from my iPhone to the new Photos app. I then delete them out of my camera roll and have them synced with albums from the new Photos app. When my phone is connected to iTunes I click on photos and it pulls up the new app option for me to sync and I choose which albums I want to sync. I hope this helps...

I can also confirm this works. I have about 5500 photos synchronizing this way.
