I think the Sol Republic Jax are a worthwhile upgrade at a relatively similar price point. ANd if you don't need a 3-button headset remote and mic, go for these.

B&H Photo has them for $25, and Best Buy is willing to price match them. If you have a reward zone certificate, you can get them for $20 plus tax.

I remember reading somewhere att will give you a new pair for free if thats where you got the phone and have a contract with them.
I paid $29 for a pair of earpods when they came out just to see how they were. Much better than the standard apple earphones.

i can't tell the difference but i think apple packaging is more enough for me (not my image nor my purchase)
