I Lost My Swoooosh!

All of a sudden, when I send an email, there is no Swooosh sound as had been the case before today in Mail. I looked for the sound settings for Mail to no avail. I checked volume level, etc.

Anyone have an idea how I screwed up the Sent sound in Mail?

Now there's no sound at all for Mail. Normally, I'd get a "clunk" sound after clicking on Get Mail if there was no mail for me, now nothing.

Close everything down, power off, power on again.

Problem solved for the moment--I closed Mail, shut down computer, rebooted computer, restarted Mail and Voila sounds at the appropriate times.
