So I was surfing around on the tubes when my internetz broker!! All I could think was oh noes! Anyway my airport quickly popped up with a DNS server error and no matter how many times I reset the airport extreme or the router the AE flashes orange and gives me the DNS error. Please save me so I can use the google for another day

Have you tried plugging your computer directly into the modem? This may be a problem you have to take up with your ISP.
Unplug the cord on your AE from the power outlet and let it sit for like a minute or so and plug it back in. It helps occasionally.
