I love Apple's x11 and OpenSource!!!!

I've been a macuser since the Mac SE days, I have used macs as primary computers through os 6->10.3 and i haven't been happier than now!
I've been using linux alongside the last years, but i've never been happy with it, because of all the small things that often takes MUCH time to fix (in linux).
But i love the idea about OpenSource and GNU/GPL!

Here comes apples x11 implemention in!!!
I have installed windowmaker under x11 and i can compile almost everything
from sourceforge (or other places) to run under it!!!

You can have Gimp (photoshop clone) and OpenOffice (ms office clone) FOR FREE!! I'm loving it!


So I will encourage everyone to take a step towards the opensource community and use x11. It's free download from apple!

And be sure to get Fink to get apps.. Its all freee

Its a bit funny though, that apple has a OS built on OpenSource

I must admit - Apple has the best X11 implementation out there. Plus, I like being able to compile UNIX stuff the UNIX 3-step way on Mac OS X...
