I upgraded from a late 2013 rMBP and i've had the 2016 mac with tb for almost 2 months now and I've gotten used to it and I like it a lot. I got to the admit the butterfly keyboard took me a while to adopt to but I like it now. No magsafe and needing adapters was kind of annoying at first, but I got used to it as well.

The display is amazing, overall size of the mac is nice and compact, it is very speedy and touch id works very well, touch bar is very useful for apps that support it.

I've grown attached to it and I really like the laptop. But there is one of thing that I just still am somewhat frustrated with, and that is battery life. The moment I got the laptop, I've noticed battery drains at a somewhat fast speed regardless of what apps I'm using. Even with light browsing and doing the same tasks I would do on my other computer, it felt like it drained a lot faster.

I've done a few battery tests between my 2013 rMBP and my 2016 TB Mac and I found that my 2013 gets better battery life. The 2013 usually gets a minimum of 1 hours to a max of 2 hours better battery life than the 2016. The 2013 is also 3 years old and only has about 90% battery capacity.

I just wish Apple would improve the battery life on the 2016. Other than that, I really like the computer and despite any of it's other flaws I'd say its a lot better than the previous model.
